Presentation: Life on the vertical
That’s living the dream – climbing mountains - for Robert Jasper. Robert Jasper is one of the world’s absolute elite. Above all, it is in the extreme alpine area, mixed terrain and ice that he sets new international benchmarks. For his impressive ascent of the north wall of the Cerro Murallòn (Patagonia), he was nominated for the Piolet d’Or, the ‘Alpinism Oscar.’ He conquered the most difficult route to date up the north face of the Eiger. This imposing backdrop was also the filming location for an IMAX movie production, in which he was involved as one of the leading actors. Robert Jasper is a regular guest at international mountain film festivals and Alpine days. He works for a variety of international companies as a risk management and team- building expert. The new, compelling multivision show by Robert Jasper contains fantastic images, moments of enthusiasm and success as well as spectacular scenery whose drama is practically second to none. A chainsaw is not usually found among the equipment of a mountain climber. Yet Robert Jasper used one to ensure his survival in the ice wastes of Patagonia and to reach the summit. He climbed a new route up the previously unconquered north wall of the Cerro Murallòn. The north face of the Eiger is Robert’s living room. Breathtaking images illustrate the fascination of this impressive and yet terrifying wall. Historic flashbacks and the mountain atmosphere give breathing space now and again.
Go with Robert Jasper on his vertical journeys and immerse yourself in the unique world of the mountains!Presentation: Life on the vertical
